I can't believe it has been a month since I posted! Every day I tell myself I will do better, and there goes a month. We have been pretty busy, so I will do that as the excuse.
I found this picture on the computer just now. Typical Payton. Drawing stuff every where she can get her hands on. Haha, but I love her passion for art. Payton turned 10. She was so excited! It was hard for her to wait. Not sure what she expected, but she was ready for the day. She opened her presents in the morning. It was funny, she said she was just going to open 1 before school, and the others after. Then she said, ok, I will just open two. Then she said, oh well, I'll just open them all now! It was cute. She loves Star Wars, and her mom was not very creative in any designs, so we went with a store bought cake. The week of her birthday was rough. She cried a lot, and didn't know why. She said that being 10 was no fun at all. Poor thing. She is going through lots of emotions and doesn't know how to handle them. Jealousy, anger, sadness, happiness, all of them are a lot for her. She did get a training bra, just to wear under lighter shirts and tank tops, and that was kind of a big deal for her too. Hopefully the rest of being 10 will be ok.
Maggie Graduated pre-school! She was so nonchalant about it all.
She is a lot like her Mom in that she is not very emotionally invested into those big types of celebrations. I asked her if she was going to miss her friends or teachers and she said nope! And ran off and played. Silly girl. But she is ready for Kindergarten and to take on teasing her big sisters at school. I am not sure they are very excited about that. haha Maggie and Payton fight like crazy sisters all the time. Payton is not looking forward to seeing Maggie everyday at school. But I know Payton is trying to work harder on getting along. She stayed home from school yesterday and they played together all day. It was amazing to see. I think they will be great friends once they figure out how to get along.
Amelia potty trained!!! Finally. Kind of. She still has an accident about once a day or so. She is very defiant, so it is usually if she is mad at someone or something, then she will just pee. But then she does run up to me and says, "Sorry Mama." So, it is hard to be mad about that. I just hope she figures it all out by the time we move out of the rental house, because she has peed more on this carpet than a dog, and I don't want that in my new house!!!
