Silly Carley

Carley is loving Kindergarten!  She is always the first one ready, and she is so organized, she reminds me of Payton.  She puts her stuff away every day in a neat pile, and seems to be pretty responsible.  However, our little Carley is a bit of sneaky girl.  I got an email from her teacher saying that the kids need to bring a snack each day.  The first few days she brought her snack.  Then she said she didn't want a snack anymore.  I tried to convince her to bring one just in case, but she was pretty adamant about not needing one.  Well, last night we had Curriculum night.  Her teacher started talking about snacks and was saying that it is mandatory that they bring one.  However, she said, if the kids forget, the school does have some back-ups of fruit snacks (Carley's favorite).   So, I talked to her teacher and we realized that Carley was "forgetting" her snack so she could have the schools snack!  I asked her about it when I got home, and she said she liked their snacks better.  haha!  Sneaky little Carley.  She may be quiet, but that little brain of hers is working overtime for sure.
