Eric's surgery

Eric had his surgery on Monday.  All went well.   He did great and the first day seemed easy.  But we are on day 3 now and he is in a bit of pain, and he is tired and groggy and sick of asking for help.  I don't blame him, I am sure it is hard.  I think he has stayed positive so far, I hope he can continue to do it.  It will be a long road for all of us.  It has been hard because he does a lot around the house.  Simple things like picking up things on the floor, folding clothes, cleaning up dinner, bringing in groceries, etc.  I have taken all of those things for granted for sure and now that they are all on me, I am tired.  But in a few months, he will be good as new, and this will all be forgotten!
