My girls is getting so big! She had her first fieldtrip today with her preschool. I was supposed to go with her, but with Eric's injury, he can't watch Amelia for that long, so I as unable to go. I hated to tell her that I could not go, but she seemed to understand.
Until we got the school the morning of. She started crying and saying she wanted her mommy. She was assigned to a parent, and it was someone's dad, and she was not happy about that. Her teacher said she could be her partner, and that fixed that. She was even able to put on a huge grin for me when she got on the bus:
They went to a pumpkin patch downtown and got to ride a train, go on a scavenger hunt, and bring home there very own pumpkin. I am so glad she had fun, but I wish I could have been there!
