Eleanor turns 6!

Happy Birthday Eleanor!  She was so excited for her birthday.  She knew what her present was, because she had begged us for new cowgirl boots the week before.  So, we bought them with her, and then I wrapped them and put them away till her birthday.  I can not believe she is six.  It is crazy how fast she is growing up.  She lost another tooth too, so now she has list 5 teeth and looks so grown up.  Grandma comes in a few days, so we will wait to have cake for when she gets here.  Things we love about Eleanor:
-She loves every one and treats everyone with kindness.  I rarely, if ever, hear her speak ill of someone else
-She is so smart.  But is shy about the fact that she is smart.  That makes it even more endearing.  She is learning 2nd grade words right now, and loves to read.
-She can still be quiet, but all of a sudden she will throw a joke at us and it cracks us up.  Her smile is catching.  Sometimes we have to coerce her to smile, but when we do, it makes every smile too.
-She is helpful.  If I ask her to do something to help me, she will do with about questions.
-She likes to try new things.  She will always be the first to try something new to do or eat.
