A few days before school started we had our last night of fun! We took the girls to the fair, then to the rodeo, then I left with Payton, Eleanor and Carley and took them to the circus. Whew. I was exhausted by the time we got home that night at 10pm.
Before we left, Eric got a picture of his girls in their jeans and cowgirl boots. I love this picture. It shows every little personality. Especially Miss Maggie.
Daddy and his little girl. I always thought Maggie looked like me, but I see this picture and I think darn, another one looks just like Eric. Maybe #5 will look like her mama.
The other girls have rode horses before, but not her. (and it is $6 to ride, so multiply that by 4, no thanks) So she got to ride the pony. She loved it and still talks about riding the horsie.
Ha ha, Eleanor's face in this is the best! It reminds me of how I felt when I used to ride roller coasters. She did not like it one bit. She said never again. Payton said it was ok, but she didn't want to ride it again either! We then took the girls on the merry go round a few times, and they all like that. Except Carley. She wouldn't ride one ride. Still a bit nervous. Maybe next time.
Then we snuck over to the rodeo and sat for a few minutes before we had to leave for the circus. Yee haw!
No pictures of the circus, because Mom forgot. But I think Carley enjoyed it the most. I almost didn't bring her because it was so late at night, but she was totally enthralled by it and I am so glad she came.
