Rough Day

Eleanor had a rough day the other day. First, she was climbing to get a book and fell and hit her top gum on the corner of the bookshelf and knocked her tooth loose. It bled and bled and her tooth was now hanging crooked.

After we knew she would be okay, we set off to see fireworks out in Kaputa, SD. I will blog about that next. But anyway, she must have gotten bit by something and it really irritated her eye. We took her to the doctor the next day and they were not sure what happened. Her poor eye was red and swollen shut and it even disfigured her nose a bit. She was so embarrassed and wouldn't even look in the mirror.

She is now used to it, and the swelling has gone down now. It has been 3 days and we are hoping it will be gone in the next few days and she will be back to normal. She ended up losing her tooth last night, so at least the tooth fairy came and that made her feel better about the whole thing!!
