Eleanor then did it too. Hers were 5 and 6 year olds. She did really good and came in 6th I think. She ran her little heart out too, and bless her emotional heart, she cried when she crossed the finish line.

Kids Fun Run
The base had a run for kids this year. I signed the girls up at the last minute and off they went. There were prizes for 1, 2, and 3rd place and Payton was determined. She heard there were coupons for free frozen yogurt to the winner and that set her mind. Too bad she ran with 7-9 year old. Poor girl ran her heart out, but didn't finish in the top. She ran the whole 1/2 mile, and that she should be proud of.
