So, we got some books from Focus on the Family to talk to kids about...you know. The first book I got was for ages 4-6. It is pretty basic. I read it to all the girls and now they know that boys are different from girls. It is a cartoon book, and there are pictures of what each of us looks like naked. I heard a few, "ewwww, gross!!!!" and quite a few giggles. But I feel good that they are a little bit more informed now and don't think that all people look like them.
The next book is for ages 7-9. It gets pretty scientific in actually how a baby is conceived. Payton and I started it, but haven't finished. I am not sure I am ready yet. Payton did ask me the other day, "Mom, I know where babies come out of, but how do they get in there in the first place?" I think we better finish that book.
