EASTER

Easter came and went.  I think since it was so early this year, it seems like it flew by.  We colored eggs a few days before.  That was a sweat fest.  I was sweating the whole time.  Maggie kept dipping her fingers in the food coloring, picking up the cups, trying to stir, etc.  she made me a bit nervous, but they all got colored without a hitch!
Maggie was so mad when I would take her eggs away.  This one I told her to put the egg down and look at me so I could get a picture.  When I said, "say cheese!', this is the look I got.
The Easter Bunny made a surprise visit on Saturday evening.  We decided to go for a quick drive, and when we got in the car, Mom had a belly ache and needed to go potty.  So,  I ran back in the house, set up the stuff, then we went for a drive.  When we came back, they were so shocked and how he had come.  I was glad we did it that night, so we didn't have to rush the next morning and wear chocolate to church, but I also missed it the next morning.  There was no excitement when they woke up, just another day.  So, I can't decide what I will do next year.
We tried to get a family picture, but, well, we didn't even try.  The thought of trying to set the timer, find somewhere to put the camera, etc. right before church didn't sound appealing to me, so we just did one with the girls, and then one with Mom and one with Dad.  I bet I could photo shop and make us a complete family if I need to.  But my girls look beautiful.  I look like a Mom.  As soon as I saw the picture I said to Eric, "I think I look cute, but I look so much like a Mom!"  Maybe because I curled my hair and wore a skirt.  Normally I am jeans and ponytail kinda gal, and that makes me seem young.  Only to me, but still, whatever works to make me feel 21.
