POTTY TRAINED!

Carley did it!  It has actually been one week tomorrow that she potty trained, but you know, I wanted to make sure she really did it before bragging about how easy she was.  We had talked about it a bit, I had even blogged about how she was interested, but it literally clicked for her and she has gone ever since.  I took her with me to the commissary, just me and her, last Wednesday.  I let her ride in Eleanor's booster seat on the way there since it was just up the street.  That was it.  She told me she was a big girl and as soon as we got home she put panties on.  Boom.  Done.  She wore panties the next day and has since.  We had one accident at Chuck and Kathy's house.  But really, she was playing hide and seek and hid next to the potty.  And she was the last one found.  Can you blame her for sitting next to the toilet for that long?  But other than that, she has done great.  It is so nice not to have to change that long, gangly girls diaper.

She is standing with her potty seat, next to the growth chart.  We measured her and she is as tall as Eleanor was when Eleanor was 3 1/2.  So big girl in so many ways!!!  And the poor thing is sick here, but still managed a smile.  She is also excited because I told her she had to be potty trained to go to Children's Church when she turns 3.  Now she can't wait to go with her older sisters.  And I can't wait for Eric and I to just sit with Maggie during most of mass!
