We celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, her actual day, here at home. I made her a cake, we sang Happy Birthday, and opened the few presents she got from Mom and Dad. She chose a party this year, so that meant no presents from Mom and Dad, but I got her a few little things anyway. We skyped Reagan and Conner while we sang Happy Birthday and that was fun.
Good Morning Birthday girl!!!
Opening her presents first thing - as soon as she woke up!
So big!!! And showing off her 5 shirt that we made the night before.
And of course, little sisters wanted in on the picture action!
Happy Birthday!!! And the um, beautiful cake Mom made. hee hee. She loved it and that is all that matters.
Saturday she had a party with four of her little friends. Payton came along to help me, but we had to leave Dad, Maggie, and Carley at home.
Goodie bags arrived! I begged and pleaded Mom to make little bags for the girls to take home, and phew, Friday they arrived in the mail. I am not sure if Eleanor was more excited for her party, or to put the goodie bags together.
She did it at Freshberry a frozen yogurt shop, and it was fun. It only lasted one hour, and that is what I liked about it. :) Patiently waiting for friends to arrive.
Let the fun begin!! They got to frost and decorate cupcakes, then they got to choose any kind of frozen yogurt and LOAD up as many toppings as they wanted. Then we opened presents and done!
She had a blast with her friends: Vivian, Emmalee, Payton, Myah, Eleanor, and Caroline. I hope she had a happy birthday. This was the first year we have ever done a party. I might make them wait a few more years for another one. But we love Eleanor to pieces and I am thankful everyday that I get to spend my days with her. She is the most thoughtful little girl ever. She is always thinking of other people before herself. And she always shares. Or saves things for her sisters. If I ever get her a treat, she will break a piece off and put it in a drawer for Payton later. She is the smartest of kids that I know at her age, and she is so good at writing. She has the fanciest and nicest little handwriting, I can see her in a few years being that girl that draws her i's with hearts. :) She loves everyone around her and we love her too. We love you Eleanor!!!!
