"School"

So, I decided to play a day of "school" with Carley and Maggie.  I had done it quite often with Payton and Eleanor, but still have not yet done it with Carley and Maggie.  So, Tuesday was the day.  I told them the night before that they would be going to school here at home.  They were so excited they could not sleep.  In the morning, they woke up, and got ready and kept asking me if it was time. 

Ding dong!  We are ready for school!  We sat on the carpet and sang a welcome song.  Then we came to the table and did the calendar, the weather, and we went over how old we are and when our birthdays are.  It was funny, because during "class" Maggie kept saying, "Teacher, your baby is crying".  She really loved the whole pretend thing of me being a teacher.  After that we did some worksheets, a Valentine craft, and then made a snack of graham crackers, marshmallows, and pink frosting. School was over in about an hour, but they loved every second of it, and now want to do it everyday.
