Paytons 1st Reconciliation

Not being Catholic, I never really understood what a 1st Reconciliation was. I now understand it, but it still is weird to me that it is a sacrament. But, Payton had her first one on the 7th of this month. Basically, it is her first chance to repent for something that she had done wrong. Leading up to it, I kept asking her if she knew what she was going to tell the priest, but she said she wanted to do it all on her own. We got to the church and she volunteered to go first of the 40 or so kids that were doing it. Since there were so many kids, they had extra priests there to help, so instead of her going into one of those rooms, she just did it sitting out in the church. We got to see her. She was cute. She walked up and you could see her talking to him....I was dying to know what she thought was her "big" sin. :) But, in no time she was done and she got to light a little candle and then they gave her her very own bible. She was so excited. On the drive home, I did take a peek at her little paper she had in her hand......here was her list: -talking mean to my sisters -not listening to my mom -saying a bad word (butt) -yelling at my sisters And of course, I left the camera job to Eric, and well, he just didn't get the greatest pics. This was the best one.
