CARLEY TURNS 3

Happy Birthday to Carley!  She turned three.  I still can't believe it.  Part of me feels like she is older, but part of me can't seem to remember how she went from a newborn to 3.   She was so excited for her birthday.  She opened her presents as soon as she woke up.  Then of course, the day took its normal course of taking the big girls to school.  But I took her to Walmart to pick out a cake and some new shoes, and that pretty much made her day.

The poor girl has been sick now for 15 days.  But she was a trooper.  We will take her three year  pictures as soon as she is better and she face isn't red from blowing her nose all day. 

Things we love about Carley:
*She is so lovable.  She tells me 100 times a day that she loves me and that I am the best Mom.
*She is kind.  She is always looking out for her older sisters and tried to include Maggie.
*She is shy.  It is nice to have a kid that I always know will not run off, will stay by my side, and I will never lose her.
*She is clumsy, but I love that about her.  It reminds me of me.  She will trip over anything, run into walls, and even fall down out of nowhere.  But that is just her, and I love it.
*She is smart.  She can write her own letter C and will recognize it anywhere.  And she can count to 10 and she sings her ABC's beautifully.
*She loves Barbie.  LOVES it.  And Dora.  She will sing songs from those movies at the top of her lungs.
*She loves to eat.  We always joke that she has a hollow leg.  She will eat a ton of food.  But she is also an adventurous eater.  She will try anything once.  And she will take a bite, think about if she likes it, then ask for more, or says, "no thank you, I not like it."
*She is so well-behaved.  She will always follow directions and is a people pleaser.  She reminds me of Payton.
