Eleanor 1st Reconciliation

Second grade means time for 1st Rec and !st Communion. Eleanor is such a little spiritual girl, that this year has been her favorite. We find letters that she writes to Jesus and God all the time. She says prayers every night with out fail, and is always the only listening at Mass. And when no one goes to church except Dad, Eleanor will go right there with him. So, no secret she could not wait for 1st Rec. She studied all week about what sins are, and what kinds of things we can repent for. She did struggle a bit, because she is such a good kid, she really doesn't have any sins. But I think she had narrowed it down to something to do with being jealous, or fighting with sisters. Anyway, she volunteered to go first, got it out of the way, and is ready to move on to 1st Communion in April.

I had to post this picture, because we joked with her about it.  I just snapped the picture randomly, but it looks like that as she got up to walk away, Father Dave is scratching his head like, "What did she just tell me?!?!"  haha
