Check ups

We had Amelia's 18month check up, and Maggie's 4 year check up.  (A little late, I know)  Maggie was terrified.  She was not sick at all this past year, so she had not been to the doctor once.  She was so afraid of what was going to happen.  We told her it was just a check up, but she said she was not going.  When we got in the car to leave, she quietly said, "Ok, I will go, but Amelia has to go first so I can see what happens."  That was the plan.  And we did it that way.  Amelia got weighed, then Maggie.  Amelia got her heart checked, then Maggie.  It was such a funny turn, because usually Maggie is the fearless leader.  She got to wear a gown for her check up too, and she was so excited.  However, the doctor told her that she will need shots next year before Kindergarten, so now she has decided she is not going to Kindergarten.
