Omaha Trip

We went this Omaha this past week.  Eric had some pre-employment stuff to take care of, and we needed to find a place to live.

Long story short, we got everything done we needed to get done.  The girls had a blast playing with their cousins, and they keep telling us that they just want to move NOW.  I wonder if they will be nervous at all once we really do.  Maybe because we visit a lot, and we have lived there before, maybe it feels like home to them already.

We found a house to rent.  Not my first choice, but it will work.  It is a small 3 bedroom, so the girls will be tight, but I am willing to sacrifice a bit, so we can build our dream house.  Hopefully, that all works out in my favor!

We celebrated Carley's birthday while we were there on Friday.  I didn't take one picture!  I am so mad.  So, no pictures of when she turned the big FIVE.  But she had a blast and she didn't know the difference.  The best part of our trip was knowing that we would never have to sleep at Russ and Krystle's house again!!!  Of course, we are thankful that we have a place to stay, but it sure gets tight fitting all of us into a 8x8 bedroom, and a house with stairs, cats, and dogs.  So glad that time in our life is over!
