Happy 12 years!

For our anniversary, we were pretty much going to do what we always do - nothing. We usually give each other cards, maybe a small gift, and just hang out as a family. Well, the day of, I ran to the commissary at lunch time, and decided to surprise Eric with a gourmet dinner served by some very special waitresses. So, I got the girls to help me set up a small, fancy dining table, we dimmed the lights, lit some candles, and put a sign on the front door saying, "Jorczak Italian Ristorante". Payton named it. I cooked up some Italian sausage and cauliflower stuffed peppers, salmon, mushroom ravioli, and some salads and got everything ready to be served. The girls got all dressed up and we even wrote out a script for them to say. On the garage door, we put a sign that told Eric to change his clothes, and then meet at the front door. I met him there, and we knocked and entered out restaurant. We were greeted by Eleanor who took us to our seats and gave us a menu. They brought us drinks, and took our order. We were a party of three, because Amelia was kind of fussy, but that was ok. The girls stayed in the kitchen and kept checking on us if needed. Payton kept telling us to talk about whatever we wanted to talk about, and have a romantic dinner. She really got into it. After dinner, we gave them a tip, and then it was over. Back to reality. We cleaned up dinner, put the kids in the bath, and everyone went to bed. But it was so much fun. We talked after that it might have been our best anniversary yet. The girls said they want to do it every year!
