School Days

Maggie and Carley are ready for school.   Maggie thinks so more than Carley does.  She has had a rough month dropping Payton and Eleanor off each morning.  She cries and says she wants to go to school too.  It has been a month and she still gets upset each morning that she can't go.  I have been promising that we will do school here at home, but, well, you know.  I have been the most busy I have ever been in my life these last few weeks.  Not sure why or how, but I haven't had a moment to sit and relax.  But today, it was cold and dreary and I had no car (ugh, a whole different story) so we did a bit of school.
We worked on tracing shapes, we worked on writing our names, and we worked on cutting.  Carley did good with the two, except for cutting.  And Maggie just pretended to go along with whatever Carley did.  Except for gluing.  Maggie is a master at the glue stick and LOVES to do that.  Hopefully, I can get more of these days in before the baby comes.

**Reason I have no car is we came home from Payton's piano lessons last night and I opened the back lift gate of the car to get some groceries out.  Eric shut the garage at the same time.  Well, the garage closed, but I opened it back up so I could get the stuff out.  Since nothing happened when the garage door closed, I assumed it would be fine to open it back up.  But nope, it caught the window and shattered the whole back window.  That was crazy.  Glass all over the garage, driveway, etc.  Eric spend a good hour or two cleaning it up, while I came in and cried.  Obviously, the car is fine and driveable, but it is really cold today, so I don't really want to go anywhere with no back window.  Thankfully, it will be fixed tomorrow at 8am and we should be back to normal.  $275 poorer, but at least we have a window.
