MAGGIE TURNS 2!

Happy Birthday Maggie!  She turned 2 on the 17th.  Not sure if it is because she had two sisters that had birthdays in April, but she knew her birthday was coming and she was so excited.  She kept saying "presents" and "cake" and "2!".  She woke up that morning and opened presents was so excited.  She even ripped them open herself and didn't need help.  Amazing what a difference between Christmas and now.  She knew exactly what to do.  She got a Minnie Mouse doll, a book, and then an outdoor slide. The climbing/slide thing was probably her favorite.  We got it about a week early and she has been on it everyday.  She doesn't really play with toys, so we had a hard time figuring out what to get her.  But overall, I think it went well!!

Cheese!  She loves to climb up the stairs, down the slide, over and over again.
She has done an awesome job of sharing with her sisters, and they ALL love it.

 Opening presents...

Her sisters tried to teach her this silly bend your head to your shoulder pose, and she tries it every time now that I take a picture.
 So BIG!!!
She got tired of smiling by the end, and this is what she gave me.  Then she walked away and into the house without even looking back.  She was done.
Her Minnie cake.  Did the best I could.  I think it turned out pretty cute.
Chuck and Kathy came over that night to give her a present, so we did cake and sang.  She loved every bit of the attention.

Things we love about Miss Maggie:
1) She is one of a kind.  She is so different from the rest of her sisters, but we love how unique she is and keep us on our toes
2) She loves to be the star.  If you laugh at her, she will keep it going.  "Watch me, watch me" is one of her new phrases she loves to say
3) She is stubborn as can be.  I think if you have a bunch of older, wiser sisters you really need to stand your ground.  And she does!
4) As mean as she can be sometimes, she turns around with a smile and will give you lots of hugs.  She will bite you one minute, then be your best friend with a smile on her face the next.  She reminds me of my brother Mike growing up.  ha ha
5) She lightens up our household.  We are all a bunch of serious, rule followers.  She reminds all of us just to let loose and have some fun!
6) She has the best voice.  It is not something I can describe, but we just love listening to her.  It is a deeper, raspy voice, and I can't wait for the day when she can tell stories.  She is so animated, it will be fun to listen to her.  For now, we get got listen to "Twinkle, Twinkle" and her "ABC's" all day long.
WE LOVE YOU MAGGIE!!!!
